🧵Calling all sewers, non-sewers and genral helpers! 🪡
We are sewing period pads for The Pachamama Project, a charity that supplies re-useable period pads to women in need across the globe.
Optional £8 donation to contribute to the new materials needed, the remainder will be donated as a cash donation.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Whether you're a sewer or not we'd love to have you on board to help with an afternoon sewing production line. The charity always aims to provide 8 pads in a small drawstring bag to each women they work with. The pads are made of a combination of nearly new and new materials and are sent to developing countries, refugees and young women where periods education is much needed.
